Alex yawned as Kain looked at one item, then another. He had been trying to choose between the two for nearly an hour. Alex was about to fall asleep when Serena and the other scouts appeared from around the corner. She nudged Kain, who jumped nearly three feet when he saw Serena.

"Why so jumpy?" she asked, raising a questioning brow. Kain smiled and placed a soft kiss on her forehead. "No reason." he answered. Serena looked doubtful, but shrugged and said okay. Lita went over to Alex and whispered, "He was getting her a present, huh?" Alex nodded and Lita grinned. Raye looked across the street, then looked to the others and smiled.

"Hey, check out that guy across the street, isn't he cute?" Lita, Mina and Alex looked across the street. Alex grinned. "Hey Jason, come over here!" she yelled.

Jason smiled and crossed the street to meet them. "Hello Alex." he said. Alex smiled to her friends. "Jason, this is Lita, Mina, Raye, Amy, Serena, and Kain, my cousin." Jason smiled and nodded. He had remembered Kain now; he was of little concern. He blinked as Raye and Mina, who immediately started competing for his attention, suddenly surrounded him. Lita checked her watch and smiled as she waved and said good bye, then she was off in a flash. She had to go meet Ken for lunch. Alex smiled, yet another couple destined to be together. Amy then spoke up, "I'm afraid I must go to, I have to meet Greg at the library." Everyone looked at her, and Mina whistled. Everyone laughed as Amy blushed and walked off. Jason smiled. Good, he thought, the less people here the more I have Alex to my... His thought was cut short as a man with black hair walked up behind Alex, spun her around, and kissed her. His eyes blazed as he saw Alex's eyes light up.

"Darien!" she grinned as she hugged him, then looked to Jason. "Jason, this is my boyfriend Darien. Darien, meet Jason." Jason did all he could to keep control as he shook Darien's outstretched hand. So, he did have some competition after all. That could easily be dealt with. He would win her, this time...
